Building and Safety Department presently consists of 58 employees. Out of these positions, 36 are inspectors, 11 perform plan review functions, and 11 hold administrative positions. Although there may not always be a vacant position within Building and Safety, the Department realizes the importance of having a robust workforce specific to the specialized construction trades.
