Team Sports Parks and Recreation provide opportunities for both youth and adults to be a part of organized team sports all year round. Get your friends, neighbors, and co-workers together to play!
Lincoln Shooting Stars Special Olympics Lincoln Parks & Recreation sponsors the Lincoln Shooting Stars team with competition in a variety of seasonal sports. Our team is open to athletes from ages 8 on up, with Young Athletes programs available to younger athletes of all abilities.
Summer Camps Our Summer Day Camps are all about creating memories, exploring new adventures, making friends, and celebrating being a kid.
Nature Center Programing Inspire curiosity and build understanding of others and of their surroundings through the guidance of caring staff, featuring the outdoors and natural wonders.
Before and After School Programs These programs offer supervised, organized recreation for kids at recreation centers and at McPhee and Everett Elementary Schools. Registration for Before and After School programs will begin in mid-April of that year.
Party in the Parks Party in the Parks includes free performing and visual arts events in many different Lincoln parks throughout the summer months.
Kid's Day Off Kid's Week Off and Kid's Day Off are fun play days during the school year when Lincoln Public Schools are not in session.
