Belmont Recreation Center

Located in the north-western part of Lincoln, Belmont Recreation Center shares a gymnasium with the Belmont Elementary School. In addition to the gym, there is a an elevated track, with fitness equipment including an Universal weight machine, Treadmills, Ski Machines, Rowing machines, and exercise bikes. Belmont Recreation Center also has a game room with pool, bumper pool, and foosball tables.

Track & Fitness Facilities

Belmont’s Track/Fitness facility includes a 13 lap/mile indoor track, treadmills, weight machines, and more. There are lockers and showers available. Bring your own lock and towel.

School's Out

Before & After School

When school’s not in session, check out our School’s Out programs. We offer a variety of programs for children throughout the year. Most programs include activities such as academic support, sports skills, games, arts, crafts, nature activities, cultural celebrations, stories, music, songs, social skill development, and computer skills. All our programs are adult supervised. Title XX accepted and need based scholarships are available.

Kids Day Off & Kids Week Off

Program is offered on days and weeks when school is not in session during the school year. Advanced registration is required. Participants are asked to wear active clothing and footwear. Title XX accepted and need based scholarships are available.

Programs for all Ages

Table Tennis Challenge

Players of all ability levels and ages are encouraged to join. Everyone may compete in singles and doubles competitions. The number of divisions will depend on the number of participants. Elementary age children must be accompanied by an adult. Handicaps are used to even out play. Call 402-441-6789 to register.

Building Rental

The Belmont Recreation Center classrooms are available to rent for your reunion, birthday party, meeting or event. Rental includes use of game room with foosball, pool, bumper pool, table tennis and shuffleboard. Call 402-441-6789 for more information and to book your event.

Dimensions: Room 2 - 975 sq. ft. Room 3 - 500 sq. ft. Room 4 - 700 sq. ft
Room Capacity: (Capacities are based on the number of tables and chairs allowed to meet fire codes.) Room 10’s capacity is 80. Room 12's capacity is 40. Room 14's capacity is 65.

(There are seven round tables in the canteen area, which can be used during after-hour rental only.)
Remember to consider serving tables in your planning.

Cleanup: You are to leave the building and/or room as you found it. This entails cleaning tables and chairs, sweeping the floor, and emptying trash cans. Cleaning supplies will be provided. (Rental time must include set-up and clean-up). Overtime staff costs may be bill due to additional cleaning, if necessary.

Note: Fitness equipment (weight machine, running track, exercise loft) is off limits to rental participants. NOTICE: Latex balloons are not allowed in the gym!

Accessibility: The wheelchair accessible entrances are located on the south side of the building. The entrance and restrooms are wheelchair accessible as well.
