Backflow Tester and Customer Portals

All cross connection test reports must be submitted through the City of Lincoln's Backflow Tester Portal, which is part of the SAMS (Sampling and Monitoring System) platform. Testers can submit backflow test reports and update credentials. Customers can use the portal to view test history, update contact information, and connect with the City’s Cross Connection Team.

Tester Certification and Registration (Grade VI Operators)

All persons performing backflow preventer tests in the City of Lincoln who wish to be on the Lincoln Water System list of approved backflow contractors must register and submit documentation annually.
