Portion of 48th Street to Temporarily Close Beginning June 17 Published on June 12, 2026 Lincoln Transportation and Utilities (LTU) today announced that beginning Wednesday, June 17, 48th Street between Adams Street and Cornhusker Highway will close for pavement repairs. The street is expected to reopen Wednesday, July 1.
