LTU Provides Progress Report on Streetlight Project Published on January 27, 2023 Lincoln Transportation and Utilities Director Liz Elliott today provided an update on a project that began last October to replace 1,000 malfunctioning LED streetlights. The streetlights are being replaced due to a manufacturing defect that causes them to turn from white to purple.
LTU Receives Pavement Design and Construction Award Published on January 25, 2023 Lincoln Transportation and Utilities (LTU) today announced it has received a Nebraska Concrete Paving Association (NCPA) award for best pavement design and construction. The project at the South 56th Street and Yankee Hill Road intersection was selected in the “Local Projects of Less Than 30,000 Square Yards” category.
Portion of West “A” Street to Close January 23 Published on January 20, 2023 Beginning Monday, January 23, West “A” Street from the east side of Southwest 27th Street to the west side of Southwest 23rd Street will be closed for the third phase of a multi-phase wastewater pipe installation project. This work is scheduled to be completed by March 31. This project will serve the growing development in the area.
