Background
The first plans for the development of Woods Park were prepared between 1951 and 1956, In 1991, a park master plan was developed and adopted by resolution of the City Council in 1992. This master plan has been amended over time to reflect changing conditions and the addition of recreational facilities that include tennis courts, pathways, playground expansion, and a fitness station.
