Division Chief of Logistics, Kendall Warnock

Division Chief of Logistics, Kendall Warnock

As a public servant for the City of Lincoln, his vision and innovation has helped guide LF&R to meet budget guidelines. In 2012, he implemented an ambulance “remount” program. This program allows trained personnel to remove the patient care compartment and completely refurbish it, then remounting the compartment on a new chassis. In lieu of purchasing new vehicles, the program saved taxpayers an average of $80,000 per ambulance. His other responsibilities include apparatus/ambulance design and build, project manager for stations, self-contained breathing apparatus testing, budgeting, forecasting vehicle replacements, personal protective gear design and build and fire liaison to the Lincoln Chaplaincy Core.

Kendall is active in the community and his church and supports several local and area foundations. He is active on a number of city committees and was awarded the Fire Chiefs Award of Excellence in 2011.

Kendall earned an associate’s degree in automotive technology from Northeast Community College in 1997. He also has attended University of Nebraska-Lincoln and is currently working toward a degree in Liberal Arts at Doane College in Lincoln. He and his wife, Desiree, have a daughter, Lola, and a son, Krew.

A native of Rosalie, a small village on the Omaha Indian Reservation in northeast Nebraska, Kendall brings a small-town sensibility and friendliness to every experience. In his spare time, he enjoys being with his family, exercising and bodybuilding and spending time outdoors.
