This free event, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., is an outdoor one-mile sculpture walk through Union Plaza suitable for all ages. Free parking is available at the Assurity Center Parking Garage, 338 N. 20th St.

Lincoln Transportation and Utilities and ROAM Share today announced the installation of a BikeLNK station in Holmes Lake Park, 70th Street and Normal Boulevard. The new station expands access to Lincoln’s bike share system and offers a convenient option for recreation and active transportation near one of the city’s most popular parks.

Portion of “O” Street to Temporarily Close Beginning April 30

Lincoln Transportation and Utilities (LTU) today announced that “O” Street between 13th and 16th streets will close beginning at 6 a.m. Thursday, April 30, for the Project NO Street Block Party. The street is scheduled to reopen at 10 a.m. Friday, May 1.

The City of Lincoln offers a Build-Your-Own Rain Barrel Class at Southeast Community College, all supplies are provided. This build-your-own workshop will teach you the basics of rainwater harvesting and how to use a rain barrel for your lawn or garden. We’ll also cover downspout diverters, overflows, connecting multiple barrels, and seasonal maintenance.
