The Northeast Senior Center, 6310 Platte Ave., will be closed Tuesday, March 17, through Friday, March 20, due to water damage in the building.
Enrollment is now open for the 2026-2027 Lincoln Parks and Recreation preschool programs that begin in September. Families may register online at lincoln.ne.gov/CivicRec. A nonrefundable $50 registration fee is required, and space is limited. Children must be toilet trained to participate.

Lincoln Transportation and Utilities (LTU) today announced that the closure of westbound “O” Street between 68th and 70th streets scheduled for today, March 12, has been postponed due to high winds. A new closure date has not yet been determined.
