Sergeant Dennis Duckworth has been promoted to Captain. Sergeant Duckworth was hired as an officer by the Lincoln Police Department in June of 1973 and was assigned as a street officer as well as an investigator in the Technical Investigations Unit and Liquor and Vice. Duckworth was promoted to Sergeant in October of 1997. His most recent assignment was as the supervisor of our Technical Investigations Unit. Prior to his appointment to TIU in 2000 Sergeant Duckworth was a street supervisor as well as a sergeant in the Management Services Unit and the Bike Patrol. Captain Duckworth has been assigned as a Duty Commander under the Operations Division.

Officer Jason Stille joined the Lincoln Police Department in December of 1997 and has been promoted to sergeant. Sergeant Stille has served as a uniformed street officer on a team as well as in the Traffic Enforcement Unit. Jason also is an accident recontructionist, firearms instructor and a member of the SWAT Team. Stille’s most recent assignment was as an investigator in the Technical Investigations Unit and will be assigned as a street supervisor in the Operations Division.
