LPD Honors Fallen Officers for Law Enforcement Memorial Week
The Lincoln Police Department will host a ceremony on the east steps of the Hall of Justice to observe Law Enforcement Memorial Week as part of a nationwide observance honoring fallen law enforcement officers. This is an opportunity to honor and pay tribute to officers who have given their lives while serving the citizens of Lincoln.
Tuesday, May 17th at 12:00 p.m.
Hall of Justice, 575 S. 10th Street, Lincoln Nebraska
The public is invited to attend.

The event will feature key note speaker Nebraska State Senator Abbie Cornett, a reading of the Proclamation by City Council Chair Eugene Carroll, and the Lincoln Police Honor Guard. The ceremony will be followed with refreshments furnished by the Lincoln Police Union.
Lincoln Police Assistant Chief Jim Peschong will read the names of the following officers who have been killed in the line of duty:
Prior to the ceremony, the Lincoln Police Department will dedicate a wall to employees that passed away while working for the department. Family members and the public are invited to attend this dedication and view the wall at 11:30 a.m.Captain Charles E. Hall - March 31, 1917
