Snowplow Santa to Visit Lincoln December 6

Lincoln Transportation and Utilities (LTU) today announced that Snowplow Santa will deliver holiday cheer from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday, December 6. This is the sixth year LTU has organized the free event in partnership with Lincoln City Libraries.

Portion of Adams Street to Close Beginning November 18

Lincoln Transportation and Utilities (LTU) today announced that Adams Street between Fifth and Sixth streets will close beginning Tuesday, November 18, for private wastewater service repair. This work is scheduled to be completed by Wednesday, November 26.

Mayor to Present September 2025 Award of Excellence

Mayor Leirion Gaylor Baird today will present the Mayor’s Award of Excellence for September 2025 to Sarah Mason, Environmental Health Educator, Lincoln-Lancaster County Health Department. The award will be presented at 3 p.m. at the beginning of the City Council meeting at the County-City Building, 555 S. 10th Street.
