Lincoln Police Search for Robbery Suspect

Lincoln Police are investigating a robbery that occurred on March 2, 2009, 8:35pm, at Hot Rayz Tan, 4344 N. 62nd Street. The nineteen year old employee was alone in the business when an unknown man entered. He pointed a black handgun at her and demanded money. She promptly provided him with money from the business. Afterward, he forced her into a back office where he sexually assaulted her. He then fled the scene.

The suspect has been described as a black male, 5'8" to 5'10" tall, slender, but muscular, build and brown eyes. He was wearing a black ski mask, black sweatshirt, black sweatpants and white latex gloves.

Investigators are working to determine whether this suspect is responsible for other unsolved, commercial business robberies. With the increased violence shown in this case, Lincoln Police are committed to identifying the party responsible. We encourage anyone with information to contact Lincoln Police at 441-7204 or call Crimestoppers at 475-3600.
